What/Who is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or Registered Dietitian (RD) or Dietitian?

A RDN/RD/Dietitian is a credentialed, professionally qualified health care practitioner. RDNs are food and nutrition experts with a degree from an accredited dietetics program and who completed a supervised practice requirement, passed a national exam and continue professional development throughout their careers. 

I am Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, meaning that you will be consulting a highly trained professional who consistently meets the highest of standards.

I am committed to helping clients achieve their health goals by incorporating healthy habits into their own unique routines. This means helping healthy clients stay healthy, helping those with medical conditions to manage or improve those conditions, and advising clients on ways to increase energy and vitality.

Most importantly, I work with you to translate those recommendations into skills and step-by-step daily practice that works for your daily routines. I walk side-by-side with you as you gain confidence in implementing the health giving practices over the long term.

During the hour long initial consultation, I will conduct a complete medical, dietary, and lifestyle assessment, work with you to create a personalized plan that takes into account your current lifestyle routines, and we will together commit to the next small step that you are ready, willing, and able to implement.

During follow up sessions, we will first review your progress, discuss any barriers/obstacles that presented, amend your plan if necessary, and provide you with tools and resources to help you feel confident in implementing your specific lifestyle change.
